I've got two comic projects that I'll be working on over the summer. The first will be Captain Hamish, a new character that a friend and I will be working on - she will be doing the writing and me the pics. Looking forward to it, because she's got some great ideas and a killer way with words. All related drawings etc will be posted here.

The second ('The Oligarchs') is a much longer project that is currently being sketched out (I've done up to chapter 3) but for which I have put up some past character studies (eg Prima, Dr Akinwale). I find the original style of these to be too stiff and unexpressive, and as for colouring... The comic's taken a while to 'take off' as it were, but it'll be worth it! I'll be putting up new studies and such here, but hopefully the comic itself will be hosted on it's own website or on one of my blogs.

So far, I've put up the first two pages of the introduction to Captain Hamish's character. They're mostly experimental - messing about with text (hence the shoddiness - it'll be fixed up in the later comics), line style (hence the uber-line work in one panel...) and format (Most of my comics are drawn freehand, so rulers and guidelines are something of a novelty!).
